Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Java Developer in Gurugram, India. The position focuses on building and maintaining backend services using modern Java technologies and working within an agile, DevOps-oriented delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support applications using Java 8 and above, along with Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and Hibernate/JPA, with active hands-on coding.
- Apply data structure concepts to implement efficient logic and improve performance where needed.
- Work with relational databases and write SQL queries as part of day-to-day development tasks.
- Use message broker technologies such as Kafka when building distributed systems.
- Participate in automated build and deployment workflows using CI/CD tools.
- Contribute effectively in teams that follow Agile practices and DevOps principles.
- Use strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability to solve technical problems.
