Position Overview
Join our team as a Junior Game Developer working remotely to support and enhance AI training initiatives. This contract role focuses on utilizing your game development knowledge to assist in training innovative AI systems by providing practical, domain-specific insights and feedback. Prior AI experience is not necessary; your expertise in game creation forms the foundation of your contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply your skills in Python and C++ to evaluate and provide constructive feedback on game development tasks and code samples.
- Use the Panda3D engine to examine and recommend improvements for game logic and rendering techniques.
- Offer relevant examples from game development to augment AI models' comprehension of contemporary creative workflows.
- Address issues relating to game rendering pipelines, management of assets, and gameplay mechanics.
- Clearly document and communicate decision-making justifications to facilitate AI training accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with a distributed team to deliver high-quality, real-world input for shaping AI technologies.
- Engage in ongoing feedback loops to refine AI learning performance continuously.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Practical experience programming in Python within game development settings.
- Solid understanding and application experience of the Panda3D engine in developing interactive 3D worlds.
- Competence with C++ and its practical use alongside game engines.
