Junior Web Designer

Overview

smartdept. is looking for a Junior Web Designer to assist an agency client. This is a part-time, fully remote, ongoing contract role centered on migrating a client's website to Webflow or Framer.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and develop websites that are visually engaging, user-centric, and aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to integrate web design elements into marketing campaigns.
• Keep current with the latest trends and technologies in web design.
• Oversee website development projects from inception through completion.
• Coordinate with web developers to ensure site builds meet specifications.
• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics and analytics.
• Provide constructive feedback to marketing on design effectiveness.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in web design and development roles.
• Strong grasp of web design principles and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capable of working independently and within team settings.
