Key Responsibilities

• Steer technical programme alignment for TradeNet by managing priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and decision-making with clear accountability.
• Collaborate with teams in engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, product, and delivery to coordinate technical plans, prepare for delivery readiness including release, migration, and cutover strategies, ensuring synchronized progress across all workstreams.
• Monitor technical and delivery risks, compliance requirements, and inter-team dependencies at the programme level, ensuring early identification and resolution.
• Facilitate risk and compliance management by organizing inputs, tracking remediation efforts, and maintaining transparency of programme-level responsibilities.
• Conduct technical programme meetings and stakeholder discussions including setting agendas, framing issues, monitoring decisions, and following up on outcomes.
• Foster Agile and Scrum methodologies across various engineering teams, encouraging autonomous operations while maintaining cross-team cohesion through standard ceremonies like sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, ensuring effective backlog management, cross-team dependency mapping, and visibility at the programme level.
• Summarize intricate technical matters clearly for leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detect and resolve technical blockers and cross-team dependencies promptly by convening relevant parties, clarifying trade-offs, and tracking outcomes.
• Lead efforts to adopt AI tools and automated workflows within project management processes to cultivate an AI-first culture that improves reporting, risk detection, and programme execution.
• Drive continuous enhancements in delivery practices, governance, reporting, risk control, and operational methods throughout the programme.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in software development, ICT project management, technical programme management, delivery management, or equivalent roles.
• Proven expertise in managing delivery and technical risks, compliance obligations, audit actions, security issues, and remediation planning at the programme scale.
• Excellent judgement and accountability to independently manage multiple technical teams, stakeholders, and workflows.
• Strong technical understanding enabling effective collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, product, and delivery units.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, and handling of extensive complex systems.
• Robust stakeholder management skills to reconcile divergent viewpoints, clarify trade-offs, and guide discussions to clear conclusions.
• Effective communication skills, capable of translating complex subjects into understandable language for diverse audiences.
• Experience working with Agile or Scrum methods, including iterative planning, delivery cycles, and coordinating across teams.
• An enthusiasm or familiarity with leveraging AI tools (such as AI-powered project management features, large language models, AI coding helpers) to boost productivity and embrace an AI-first engineering culture.
