Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time Lead Software Engineer to join our Navi Mumbai office and work primarily on administrative systems, focusing on modernizing legacy applications. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong inclination toward owning processes, and an enthusiasm for adopting new technologies. This role offers an excellent chance to influence a newly forming team within a dynamic organization impacting patient lives through medical advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and thoroughly document user requirements.
• Design, develop, modify, and provide ongoing support for software applications.
• Engage in the software validation process through developing, reviewing, and executing test plans and scripts.
• Follow the complete software development life cycle including requirements collection, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Maintain clear communication within the team regarding projects, tools, development progress, and best practices.
• Apply expertise in areas such as object-oriented programming with C#, SQL databases, web technologies including ASP.NET.
• Lead software development projects when opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Between 8 to 12 years of experience in software development, proficient with C#, Angular, Web Services, GraphQL, Git, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework and Azure DevOps is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and software release processes.
• Experience transitioning legacy systems to cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent command of written and spoken English.
