Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance activities and tasks to ensure that equipment remains safe, operational, and efficient. This will include executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance measures. The role requires learning and demonstrating proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment by progressing through training programs. Timely completion of assigned work orders is a key expectation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Proficient with the use of various tools including power tools, hand tools, drill presses, and shop equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents written in English.
• Effective communication skills using multiple methods on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working with notebook computers and standard office equipment.
• Physical ability to frequently sit, stand, stoop, and use hand motor coordination.
• Capable of navigating stairs in a multi-level plant environment to fulfill job duties.
• Exposure to hazards commonly associated with machinery and equipment in a baking production setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform activities such as stacking, unstacking, carrying, standing, and stooping in a warm working environment for extended periods.
