Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a proficient Mechanical Design Engineer skilled in SolidWorks to design and enhance mechanical parts, assemblies, and products. The candidate will focus on creating detailed CAD models and collaborate effectively with various teams to provide engineering solutions that meet quality and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks software.
• Design mechanical components including sheet metal parts and weldments.
• Compile Bills of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, and relevant technical documentation.
• Update and modify existing designs based on feedback from clients or production needs.
• Conduct tolerance analyses and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Work closely with production, quality control, procurement, and project management teams.
• Assist in prototype creation, testing phases, and product validation processes.
• Adhere to engineering standards and ensure designs comply with customer requirements.
• Engage in design review sessions and promote ongoing design improvements.
