Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily non-destructive testing inspections both on the manufacturing floor and onsite as required.

  • Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of NDT equipment to retain its operational effectiveness.
  • Perform thermographic inspections to assess blade conditions.
  • Carry out conventional ultrasonic testing (UT) and phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) specifically on wind turbine blades.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or ITI certification educational qualification.
  • Certification of ASNT Level 2 in ultrasonic testing methods.
  • Between 3 and 6 years of relevant work experience in NDT.
  • Fundamental understanding of ultrasonic testing principles.
  • Proficiency in equipment handling, calibration, and practical scanning demonstrations.
  • Ability to document and report findings effectively to servers and other departments.
  • Knowledge and adherence to relevant codes and standards.
