Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced .NET Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable web applications. The successful candidate will utilize .NET technologies to develop backend services and RESTful APIs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable web applications using .NET frameworks and technologies.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Work collaboratively with business analysts, fellow developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Author clean, maintainable, and efficient code by adhering to established coding standards and industry best practices.
- Engage in code reviews, debug issues, and optimize application performance.
- Design database structures, optimize queries, and develop stored procedures for efficient data access.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Assist in production deployments and promptly troubleshoot application problems as they arise.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Between 5 and 8 years of professional experience in developing applications using .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Framework/.NET Core platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Web API and RESTful service development.
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework or EF Core, SQL Server, and LINQ querying.
- Familiarity with Git and other version control systems.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns.
- Exposure to and understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud platform services and deployment.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
Educational Background
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
