Role Overview
We are seeking an Order to Cash Process Developer based in Jaipur, working on-site, to support cash applications and collections processes. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate application of payments, resolving unidentified receipts, and supporting customer payment reconciliation within an advanced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash applications and deduction creation for manual, lockbox, and EFT receipts not auto-applied, within 24 hours or per client agreement.
- Conduct audits on automated cash applications to maintain financial integrity of receivables, ensuring invoices are closed and deductions recorded correctly.
- Identify and resolve any unknown cash receipts promptly through detailed research.
- Utilize SAP or Oracle Accounts Receivable systems and apply foundational accounting principles, appreciating their impact on customer development.
- Interpret sometimes unclear customer documentation to address payment-related issues effectively.
- Apply check remittances to customer accounts under strict deadlines, managing workload and reallocating tasks as needed.
- Exhibit flexibility to work overtime during critical periods such as month-end, year-end, or reduced staffing scenarios.
- Analyze situations and problems using a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Perform collections activities by contacting customers via phone to secure delinquent payments or commitments.
- Make outbound and inbound calls, email or fax invoices, or arrange for hard copy invoice delivery based on customer requests.
- Reconcile orders against customer records, validate credits or debits, coordinate refunds or collections, and manage dispute resolution by collaborating internally and with customers.
- Offer payment plan options tailored to customer needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum B.Com graduate with relevant experience in cash application.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical capabilities.
- Proficient in end-to-end Order to Cash processes.
- Good working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity navigating automated reporting tools such as Power BI dashboards.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in B2B collections, billing, and cash applications processes is advantageous.
