Overview
We are seeking an experienced Outlets Manager to oversee efficient and high-standard operations of our hospitality outlets at Chedi Hospitality in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have managerial experience within luxury hotels or premium restaurants, combining operational excellence with strong leadership and financial acumen.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related fields is preferred.
- At least 2 years of managerial experience as an Outlet Manager, or a similar leadership role in upscale hotels or high-quality dining establishments.
- Applicants with Assistant Outlet Manager experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong operational and leadership competencies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, service protocols, menu details, beverage management, and restaurant systems.
- Demonstrated ability in leadership, team coordination, clear communication, and problem resolution.
- Commercial awareness including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, inventory procedures, and maximizing revenue.
- Outstanding guest relationship skills with the ability to address concerns tactfully and effectively.
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems and restaurant or hotel reservation systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial.
- Experience in banquet event management is an added advantage where relevant.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage daily outlet operations ensuring adherence to concept, hotel standards, and departmental policies.
- Guarantee delivery of professional, tailored, and exceptional service to guests.
- Maintain active presence on the floor during service hours to supervise and assist the team and interact with guests.
- Ensure compliance with service sequences, operational procedures, and brand standards.
- Lead pre-shift briefings to review operations, guest preferences, reservations, menu updates, promotions, service priorities, and sales targets.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of all offerings and foster upselling through effective recommendations.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor team efficiency for smooth service delivery.
- Plan staffing levels and create duty rosters based on business needs.
- Supervise outlet opening and closing tasks, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Ensure maintenance and proper utilization of equipment, furnishings, and supplies.
- Conduct outlet inspections regularly and coordinate with maintenance teams as needed.
- Complete operational checklists diligently and maintain clear communications with Food & Beverage leadership regarding operations and risks.
- Coordinate with Culinary and related departments for seamless service.
- Foster exceptional guest service by encouraging personalized and anticipatory interactions consistent with hotel standards.
- Build positive guest relationships, noting preferences and special occasions for personalized service.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and implement necessary follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support financial goals by managing revenue, costs, and operational efficiencies.
- Analyze sales trends, forecast business, and encourage team involvement in achieving targets.
- Manage expenses including payroll, inventory, waste, and equipment utilization.
- Participate in budgeting, revenue projections, and business planning.
- Conduct regular stocktaking and ensure adherence to financial and procedural controls on all transactions.
- Prepare and submit operational reports and maintain all necessary documentation punctually.
- Promote a positive, professional, inclusive team culture with continual learning and development opportunities.
- Engage in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
- Maintain compliance with all hotel policies, safety, health regulations, and service standards.
- Support marketing efforts including promotions and special events to boost outlet performance and visibility.
- Ensure all team members adhere to grooming, safety, and operational policies aligned with the hotel's standards.
Additional Information
The Outlets Manager will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and may be assigned additional reasonable duties as necessary. This position requires a proactive approach and dedication to upholding the highest standards in all service aspects and operational compliance within a luxury hospitality environment.
