Key Responsibilities

Act as the main contact for patients and external facilities to arrange appointments.
Gather, verify, and communicate details about patient insurance benefits during scheduling.
Inform patients about the insurance verification procedures and their expected financial obligations.
Confirm appointments with patients and provide necessary instructions.
Collaborate with medical professionals and staff to ensure effective scheduling processes.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
Minimum of two years experience in customer service, appointment scheduling, or healthcare settings.
At least one year experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Capability to safeguard patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
Experience of one year or more in remote work environments, particularly in high-volume calling roles.
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong skills in problem-solving and managing conflicts.
A compassionate, patient-centered approach to service delivery.
