About the Team

The Resourcing & Development (R&D) Team is central to ITV's People function, focusing on fostering a culture that supports employee growth, engagement, and career development. The team is collaborative and agile, dedicated to creating impactful learning experiences, promoting wellbeing, and guiding colleagues through organizational changes.

Role Overview

We are seeking a People Development Coordinator specializing in Learning, Development & Wellbeing for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role supports the coordination and monitoring of a program aimed at helping line managers and employees advance their careers, build resilience, and focus on wellbeing. Working closely with the People Development Manager, you will ensure the program remains organized, visible, and effective.

In addition to this program, you will contribute broadly to the People Development team by linking project-specific activities with day-to-day operations, assisting with team events, key initiatives, financial administration, and other practical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project plans, timelines, action logs, trackers, and risk logs to ensure transparency of all project activities.
  • Arrange and coordinate both virtual and in-person workshops, interactive labs, check-ins, and coaching circles for various teams.
  • Oversee event logistics including invitations, calendar management, attendee coordination, waitlist handling, session instructions, and follow-up communications.
  • Provide virtual support during online sessions such as managing breakout rooms, interactive polls, attendance tracking, and resolving technical issues.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal facilitators, participants, key stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Manage and update digital resources including learning portals, shared drives, presentation slides, participant materials, and facilitator guides.
  • Coordinate evaluation forms before and after workshops, analyze feedback data, and create straightforward visual reports to showcase insights.
  • Compose clear and engaging communications aimed at encouraging managers and employees to participate in learning programs and campaigns.
  • Support broader team operations including basic financial tasks such as raising purchase orders and monitoring expenditures, preparing presentation content, and providing backup support across the R&D team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency by developing templates or checklists to enhance consistency.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in project coordination within a Learning & Development setting.
  • Strong organizational skills including planning, managing multiple priorities, setting stakeholder expectations, and adhering to deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with accuracy in handling feedback data and managing document versions.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, capable of writing clear, structured, and approachable messages.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, booking platforms, internal communication tools, or HR databases; experience with Oracle Fusion is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite applications (Calendar, Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets) and basic data tracking with spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative for problem-solving, and handle confidential information sensitively.

Additional Desired Attributes

  • A collaborative working style and the confidence to develop professional relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Flexibility to switch between structured project work and general operational support as team needs arise.
  • Basic knowledge of adult workplace learning principles, including measuring learning effectiveness and converting feedback to actionable insights.
  • Experience designing simple dashboards and visual summaries to report program engagement.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and maintaining composure during change, combined with a genuine commitment to employee experience, wellbeing, and personal development.

Additional Information

This role will require national travel to support learning events, with periods involving multiple days of travel per week and other times with none; flexibility is critical. The role is based in Manchester, Leeds, or London with hybrid working, including two office days per week aligned with learning and development event schedules.

Please note that due to high application volumes, the closing date may be moved earlier. Prompt application is encouraged.
