Role overview
A respected Singaporean family is looking for an organised and dependable Personal Assistant to support the household on a permanent, long-term basis in Singapore. This position is suited to someone who enjoys varied work, takes pride in precision, and can help keep the employer’s daily life, commitments, and household administration running smoothly.
The environment is designed to be supportive and collaborative, with clear communication, openness, and mutual respect at its core. The role also offers good work-life balance, structured onboarding, and access to detailed processes and historical reference material so you can settle in with confidence.
What you will do
- Coordinate family travel during busy holiday periods, including researching suitable routes and fares, arranging hotel stays, and building detailed itineraries.
- Manage payment follow-ups for household and family expenses, such as vendor invoices and school fees, while keeping records accurate and current.
- Track and administer family reward programmes, including monitoring points, redeeming benefits, and updating records.
- Handle renewals for magazine subscriptions so deliveries continue without interruption.
- Arrange weekday lunches for the employer, either through vendor coordination or by setting up meal arrangements aligned to preferences and dietary needs.
- Plan and organise festive hamper distribution during holidays by liaising with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain updated reference lists for items such as art collections, friends’ contacts, holiday hamper recipients, and other personal inventories.
- Support the tracking and management of employer assets, including vehicles, insurance renewals, and wine collections with procurement and inventory oversight.
- Carry out ad hoc errands such as buying gifts, cards, or hampers for special occasions and ensuring they are selected and delivered thoughtfully.
- Keep a monthly watch on upcoming concerts and events and arrange ticket bookings when needed.
- Work closely with other household staff, including the Chauffeur and House Manager, to ensure day-to-day operations run seamlessly.
What you should bring
- Proven experience supporting senior individuals or families, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information carefully.
- Excellent organisational discipline and strong attention to detail across a busy, changing workload.
- Good presentation standards, with the ability to format documents, lists, and communications neatly and professionally.
- A self-driven and resourceful approach, with comfort using initiative and creative thinking to solve problems.
- A genuine interest in building a long-term role in a supportive environment that values balance and stability.
- Confidence in giving and receiving feedback openly and constructively, with an honest and transparent working style.
- Ease working in a small, highly cooperative team where collegiality matters more than hierarchy.
- Ability to stay positive and professional even under deadlines or pressure.
- Willingness to work standard office hours even when the employer is overseas or unavailable.
- Strong written and spoken English, with medium-level Excel ability preferred and a willingness to learn additional skills.
Why this opportunity stands out
This Singaporean household places real value on the wellbeing of its team as well as their work contribution. Clear internal procedures and comprehensive documentation are already in place, helping new team members get up to speed quickly and confidently. If you are seeking a stable position with variety, respect, and room to grow over time, this could be a strong next step.
Additional information
This is a permanent, long-term full-time role based onsite in Singapore. The employer expects regular office hours, including when they are travelling abroad or otherwise occupied. Applicants should note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
