Private Equity Analyst

Job Overview

This contract position as a Private Equity Analyst offers remote work with compensation ranging from $100 to $144 per hour. The role demands a commitment of 10 to 40 hours weekly and involves detailed investment evaluation and documentation preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive due diligence by analyzing confidential information memoranda and related deal documents to identify investment prospects.
• Prepare, review, and enhance Investment Committee memos and Board presentations to facilitate informed decision-making on critical transactions.
• Interpret and scrutinize complex public filings, financial reports, and dense transactional paperwork for rigorous investment assessment.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to oversee task progression and detect significant discrepancies in deal execution.
• Maintain meticulous attention to confidentiality and detail throughout the deal lifecycle management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience at the Associate or Analyst level within private equity or combined sectors of private equity and investment banking.
• Expertise in analyzing public filings, managing M&A or financing transactions, and developing CIMs/SIMs plus due diligence documentation.
• Advanced skills in crafting and structuring Investment Committee memoranda and Board Decks for clear communication of complex information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities to produce precise and persuasive content for various audiences.
• Highly organized and disciplined, capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously with exacting attention to detail.
