Procurement Buyer

About the Role

Eram Talent, a reputable recruitment consultancy, is looking for a driven Procurement Buyer to become part of their team based in Saudi Arabia. The company excels in facilitating the connection between skilled professionals and outstanding job roles across multiple industries. This role focuses on acquiring goods, materials, and services necessary for project support while ensuring operational continuity. Candidates with backgrounds in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure project-related materials, goods, and services in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
• Assess supplier quotes considering price competitiveness, quality standards, delivery schedules, and technical compliance.
• Maintain uninterrupted supply chains to meet operational and project requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments such as engineering, project management, operations, and finance to refine specifications and requirements.
• Administer purchase orders, track deliveries, and address any supply disruptions or delays promptly.
• Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of suppliers and oversee their performance.
• Guarantee adherence to contractual obligations, commercial policies, and ethical guidelines.
• Keep detailed and accurate procurement records and documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable procurement experience, ideally within the oil and gas or petrochemical fields.
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement workflows, supplier relationships, and contract management.
• Capability to collaborate with project teams and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical prowess complemented by solid negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP platforms and procurement-related software is considered a plus.
