About Airbnb and the Role

The Public Policy Campaign Team at Airbnb advocates for hosts and guests by engaging politicians, regulators, and opinion leaders to foster fair and progressive home-sharing regulations. Operating across Europe, the team manages numerous dialogues with governments at local to national levels, using innovative advocacy and stakeholder partnerships to support community interests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee budget forecast maintenance and collaborate with global operations to monitor and analyze expenses.
- Manage contracts and process vendor payments efficiently.
- Take responsibility for creating and managing reporting content, including drafting communications about team initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to optimize processes involving policy campaign workflows.
- Act as the primary contact for onboarding new vendors, tracking their status, and resolving related issues.
- Provide timely payment and contract updates to vendors and stakeholders while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Enhance internal communications by building strong relationships with various departments.
- Support the team through operational projects like planning offsites and virtual events.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools and processes to boost operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile and Expertise
- At least 4 years of experience in budget operations, program coordination, or related administrative roles in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and payment processing, especially in contexts involving multiple currencies or legal jurisdictions.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and strong skills in financial tracking applications.
- Experience handling sizable budgets accurately and responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills capable of bridging finance, legal, and policy teams.
- Good judgment paired with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Capacity to manage several priorities simultaneously without compromising attention to detail.
- Background in political campaigns, public affairs, or public policy environments is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as French or German are beneficial.
