Project Engineer

Overview

The Project Engineer utilizes engineering expertise to address complex challenges by leveraging an understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating innovative projects, ensuring they meet budget, timing, and design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various business units on both new and ongoing projects.
• Oversee site projects, managing budgets and schedules as specified in project proposals.
• Partner with designated vendors to ensure delivery of projects at premium quality standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Ecolab's core equipment, including Next Gen 3D Trasar, Purate Generators, and Polymer dosing skids.
• Provide preliminary budget estimates for new project initiatives and equipment standards.
• Leverage engineering skills to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost through careful project planning and execution.
• Identify operational areas primed for improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
• Assist in feasibility analyses, manpower projections, and cost computations.
• Ensure project compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and corporate standards at local, national, and regional levels.
• Support technical integration and development of manufacturing processes for new or significantly modified products.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
• Five to six years of professional experience, preferably in districts such as district cooling, chemical processing, food industry, industrial manufacturing, iron and steel, aluminium smelting, mining, and paper production sectors.
