Purchase Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a Purchase Executive based in Ravet, Pune, responsible for procuring solar products, electrical supplies, and project-related materials to support our solar industry operations. The role offers a monthly salary in the range of ₹15,000 to ₹25,000.

Primary Duties

• Oversee the purchasing process for solar and electrical components as well as project-specific items.
• Engage with suppliers and vendors to identify sources and develop procurement strategies.
• Collect multiple quotations, analyze and negotiate pricing and payment terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Create and manage purchase orders and maintain comprehensive purchase documentation.
• Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers to guarantee material deliveries align with project timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Store, Project, and Installation groups to fulfill material requirements accurately.
• Maintain organized records of vendor information, quotations, invoices, and purchase transactions.
• Foster and sustain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to support smooth procurement operations.

Candidate Profile

• Basic understanding of solar industry products and electrical materials.
• Effective communication skills coupled with strong negotiation abilities.
• Competent in vendor coordination and proactive in following up on orders.
• Familiarity with MS Excel for record-keeping and data handling.
• Good organizational capacity and problem-solving aptitude to manage procurement challenges.
