Overview

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Residential Cleaner to service homes by performing various cleaning duties including move-in/move-out, rental turnovers, and ensuring properties are show-ready or inspection-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit residential locations to perform scheduled cleaning appointments and turnover assignments.
• Conduct thorough general cleaning such as kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, bedrooms, floors, and other surfaces to meet company standards.
• Remove dust, debris, garbage, and unwanted items during cleaning sessions.
• Sanitize surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, door frames, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
• Use appropriate equipment to vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
• Clean interior parts of appliances like refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when necessary.
• Identify and report areas needing further cleaning, repairs, maintenance, junk removal, or additional attention before property showings or occupancy.
• Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting the cleaning completed.
• Communicate consistently and professionally with tenants, property owners, and team members.
• Follow assigned checklists, access protocols, and appointment instructions meticulously.

Typical Duties

• Move-in and move-out cleaning tasks.
• Rental turnover and deep cleaning activities.
• Detailed kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
• Appliance, floor, cabinet, drawer, window sill, and baseboard cleaning.
• Garbage disposal and light debris clearance.
• Preparing properties for inspections, showings, or tenant move-in.

Prerequisites

• Previous experience working as a cleaner, housekeeper, or in related residential cleaning services.
• Strong understanding of cleaning standards for residential properties.
• Reliable transportation to access various job sites.
• Possession of personal cleaning tools and supplies for each appointment.
• Comfortable working solo at different residential properties.
• Own an iPhone 13 or similar smartphone capable of capturing high-quality images and videos.
• Skilled at documenting and submitting clear notes, photos, and videos following each visit.
• Ability to work with minimal oversight while maintaining professionalism and punctuality.
• Good communication skills to interact respectfully with tenants, owners, and coworkers.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and capability to follow instructions and protocols precisely.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience specifically with rental turnover, move-in/move-out cleaning projects.
• Familiarity with inspecting and identifying maintenance, damage, pest, or access-related concerns at properties.
• Background in fieldwork for property management, cleaning, home services, or maintenance companies.
