Role overview
Everlast Gyms is looking for a Sales Host to help create an outstanding experience for prospective members, current members, and visitors. This position is for 20 hours per week and is centered on sales, retention, service, and club support within a fitness environment.
What the role involves
- Deliver a consistently high-quality experience to every prospect, member, and guest, turning each interaction into a chance to sell and retain business.
- Actively pursue membership growth through new sign-ups, renewals, upgrades, and additional spend across food and beverage, retail, and fitness products.
- Turn enquiries into memberships by handling objections confidently, selling to customer needs, and following up effectively.
- Help keep members engaged and loyal by building relationships, spotting members who may be at risk of leaving, and suggesting relevant products and services.
- Lead personalised club tours based on each person’s goals, then match their needs to the facilities and services available.
- Consistently work toward and surpass personal and club KPIs.
- Act as a competent key holder when needed, supporting opening, closing, and shift cover duties.
- Learn and confidently use the membership platform and related systems, with training provided.
- Represent the brand in current fitness challenges, class concepts, and the Workout Wednesday initiative to encourage participation and engagement.
- Support the club’s operational standards by helping maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and strong gym-floor presentation.
- Assist the Head Coach with gym resets and other ad hoc fitness-related tasks on and off the gym floor.
- Stay well informed about the products and services offered by the club.
- Handle member questions and complaints professionally and escalate to management when appropriate.
