Role Overview

We seek a meticulous, data-driven Inventory Manager based in Miami with responsibility for maintaining inventory accuracy across all Grip distribution centers. Your duties will include enforcing best inventory practices, auditing procedures across the network, and fostering ongoing improvements both operationally and systemically. You will be responsible for revamping inventory-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordinating inventory requests with facility managers, and collaborating with data and tech teams to ensure robust and scalable inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory management across all locations, ensuring correct handling, reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure strict adherence to FIFO protocols and appropriate holding of inventory at all facilities.
• Lead comprehensive facility audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks, partnering with facility teams to identify and eliminate process gaps.
• Analyze audit results to monitor corrective measures and continuously enhance inventory controls.
• Redesign and update inventory SOPs, including receiving procedures, to address root causes of inefficiencies and inaccuracies.
• Develop and oversee daily system monitoring processes, establishing key metrics reflecting accuracy, timeliness, and reliability.
• Manage inventory requests on a project basis for each facility, coordinating priorities and deadlines with facility managers.
• Regularly travel to facilities to perform audits, implement SOPs, and support teams onsite.
• Collaborate with the data team to verify seamless systems integration and reliable inventory data flows.
• Work closely with the technology team to contribute operational insight to the inventory system product roadmap, focusing on customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in inventory management roles.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-oriented mindset, adept at utilizing inventory systems and dashboards for informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in English to facilitate effective communication and team collaboration.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic workplace environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management principles and industry best practices.
• Willingness to travel as required to visit Grip’s facilities.
