Role Responsibilities

• Prepare schedule data to support proposals and contract negotiations, ensuring schedules accurately reflect the designated scope of work.
• Review work planning and scheduling to confirm activities are effectively organized, appropriately resourced, and completed on time.
• Create project-specific codes of accounts and work breakdown structures (WBS), suggesting modifications and revisions as new work is assigned.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to validate the sequence and methods of construction operations devised by planning engineers for various projects.
• Develop and apply methods to estimate activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialties.
• Identify critical path activities and key inter-disciplinary dependencies within assigned areas to ensure project timelines are accurately tracked.
• Review scheduling data thoroughly and gather necessary information to maintain logical activity sequences across disciplines, specialties, or projects.
• Detect, analyze, and monitor deviations from schedules within assigned specializations, including contractor submissions, recommending corrective measures or alternative solutions.
• Compose detailed schedule commentaries for monthly progress and other reports identifying critical or potentially impactful activities. Prepare and present Critical Items Action Reports.
• Develop master schedules for construction projects and construct Work Breakdown Structures effectively for each project.
• Conduct critical path analysis and highlight concerns or risks.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience complemented by a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Extensive background in project control, planning, and contract administration involving major projects such as airports, buildings, and infrastructure.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong skills in planning and project management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
