Senior Project Manager - Design

About the Role

ERSG Careers is partnering with a prominent firm in the Power, Transmission, and Renewables industry to recruit a Senior Project Manager specializing in overseeing design processes for Renewable Energy projects throughout Ireland. This role emphasizes managing key stakeholder relationships, particularly at the Distribution System Operator (DSO) and Transmission Network Operator (TNO) levels, while adhering to stringent deadlines and budget constraints.

The position requires frequent interaction with internal teams as well as external parties including ESB, EirGrid, and third-party design consultancies. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the office a minimum of three days per week, collaborating closely with design and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise design phases of renewable energy projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage and nurture key stakeholder relationships internally and externally, with a focus on DSO and TNO contacts.
• Ensure projects progress within agreed timelines and financial plans.
• Coordinate with third-party design consultants and utility companies to align project objectives.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among design and engineering departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing construction and design processes for renewable energy projects.
• Strong capability in stakeholder management at multiple organizational levels including DSO/TNO.
• Ability to work effectively under tight schedules and budget constraints.
• Degree qualification in engineering, design, or a closely related field.
• Willingness to work in-office at least three days per week in Dublin.
