The Senior Technical Office Engineer will oversee cost control, tendering processes, contract administration, and financial coordination across various development projects, ensuring accuracy in commercial matters and adherence to contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and assess Bills of Quantities (BOQs), prepare cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Evaluate contractor quotations from both technical and financial perspectives.
• Manage contractor-related payments, invoices, claims, and variation orders efficiently.
• Develop project cash flow forecasts and maintain cost control reports.
• Act as a liaison among consultants, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth coordination.
• Review shop drawings to confirm compliance with project specifications.
• Track project budgets and predict upcoming financial outcomes.
• Guarantee adherence to contractual and cost control protocols throughout project execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Certification or formal training in contracts or cost management is desirable.
• A minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in technical office roles, cost control, or quantity surveying.
• Prior involvement in commercial, residential, and villa development projects is advantageous.
• Well-versed in contracts, tendering procedures, and cost control methodologies.
• Knowledgeable about FIDIC guidelines and associated contractual frameworks.
• Competent in budgeting, financial forecasting, and report generation.
• Expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel and specialized cost control software.
• Strong abilities in analytical evaluation of financial data and interpretation of contract terms and commercial risks.
• Excellent coordination and negotiation skills paired with a highly organized and detail-focused approach.
• Commercially astute with financial discipline and a proactive, accountable work ethic.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
