Site Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Site Engineer to assist the Project Manager in overseeing and managing site activities. This role involves comprehensive project planning, scheduling, technical coordination, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will act as a vital link between various stakeholders and ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in supervising and managing on-site operations.
• Plan, schedule, forecast, and coordinate both technical and managerial facets of projects.
• Manage and control costs related to materials and labor.
• Coordinate and verify engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and monitor project progress alongside main contractors and subcontractors.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, local authorities, environmental agencies, and federal bodies involved in the projects.
• Oversee daily project execution operations to maintain workflow.
• Resolve construction-related challenges with practical and efficient solutions.
• Ensure adherence to quality control and assurance standards to meet project objectives.
• Maintain all project documentation accurately and keep records up to date.
• Implement and enforce safe working procedures to mitigate risks on site.
• Stay informed and compliant with relevant legal requirements governing construction and engineering work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a BCA-recognized Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 2 to 3 years' experience in Addition and Alteration (A&A), civil engineering, or earthworks projects.
• Exhibit a strong team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude towards work.
• Available to commence work on short notice.
