Role Overview
This role is for a senior-level professional in Lenovo's Solutions Services Group (SSG), responsible for spearheading sales efforts involving IT Managed Services, Truscale IaaS/DaaS solutions, Think-Shield and core security software, Asset Recovery Services, plus industry-specific service offerings combined with Lenovo's hardware portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Lenovo's client-facing teams and partner networks to create combined value propositions and design effective Go-To-Market strategies to capture SSG business opportunities.
- Promote the adoption of Truscale IaaS/DaaS service models tailored to the assigned market segments, including product offerings, service integration, and financial solutions.
- Identify and close major complex deals involving AI Solutions, IT Managed Services, Think-Shield software, and ARS portfolios.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to meet growth targets for the Solutions Services Group.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders both externally with customers and internally within account teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deal progression through all stages.
- Utilize tools like MS Dynamics to track key sales metrics regularly and ensure achievement of sales goals.
Candidate Profile and Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, with an MBA or an advanced technical qualification considered an advantage.
- At least 15 years of proven success in enterprise technology sales.
- A strong history of meeting or exceeding high-value multi-million-dollar sales quotas.
- Experience in both direct and channel sales, with in-depth knowledge of IT Managed Services, Think-Shield/Core security software, Asset Recovery Services, and as-a-Service business models.
- Strategic thinking with sound commercial judgment, effective contract negotiation capabilities, and partner management expertise.
- Experience managing partner/channel ecosystems and nurturing existing partnerships.
- Existing relationships with partners and channels in the South India market are beneficial.
