Internship Program Overview
This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in degree programs seeking practical exposure by engaging in UFC's daily operations within the Sport Science Department. The program is conducted entirely on-site in Las Vegas, NV. Participants will be deeply involved in meaningful projects supporting UFC’s growth. Note that no relocation, housing, or transportation support is provided.
Important Dates
- July 1: External posting of fall internships

- July 27 - August 14: Interview and selection phase
- August 31 - November 20: 12-week internship duration
Internship Responsibilities
- Support monitoring and assessment activities within the Sport Science Department, ensuring accurate and timely task completion.
- Assist with planning, preparation, and calibration of testing equipment and evaluation efforts to maintain smooth operational flow.
- Carry out monitoring and assessment interventions aligning with research goals and performance support.
- Manage data processing tasks, maintain databases, and conduct data analysis to aid departmental objectives.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory and equipment, following all safety and maintenance guidelines.
- Collaborate across technical areas to fulfill the sport science needs of the organization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and innovations in sport science to enhance departmental capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Currently enrolled in a degree program relevant to sport science or related fields.
- Must reside in the United States during the internship tenure.
- Strong dedication and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in data management and analytical skills.
- Capable of administering various physiological testing protocols while adhering to methodological standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet assigned goals efficiently.
- Genuine interest in working with elite combat athletes.
- Prior experience with athletes involved in weight-class sports is preferred.
