Store Manager

Role Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing store operations in alignment with established standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring the store maintains its prescribed look and feel, manages inventory efficiently, and achieves sales targets through effective customer conversion strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure store operations comply strictly with predefined SOPs and conduct audits for adherence and compliance.
• Maintain the store's appearance according to guidelines, managing visual merchandising efforts accurately.
• Oversee cash handling procedures meticulously to prevent theft and ensure security within the store.
• Manage inventory and stock levels to avoid shortages or surpluses.
• Prepare and submit KPI reports in a timely manner as per company guidelines.
• Coordinate strategic rollouts, including clearing the store for formal launches by managing necessary dimensions like manpower, furniture, fittings, IT equipment, and device inventories.
• Handle store closures effectively during refits and conversions.
• Drive profitability by achieving sales targets through converting walk-in customers, focusing on new client acquisition and upselling.
• Monitor and report management information systems (MIS) and track performance at the CRO level.
• Control store expenses to align with budget plans and suggest measures to enhance store productivity.
• Manage and develop outsourced store staff, ensuring proper daily scheduling and briefings.
• Address any planned or unplanned attrition promptly and escalate as required for quick resolution.
• Foster motivation and growth amongst store staff.
• Maintain customer experience standards by ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
• Allocate staff dynamically based on demand fluctuations and personally manage difficult customer interactions if needed.
• Propose improvements to enhance overall customer experience and store operations.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary range of INR 40,000 to INR 70,000.
