Role Overview
The Technical Program Manager acts as a communication bridge among executives, department leaders, and program teams to define, prioritize, and deliver development initiatives. This role supports large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders across corporate functions. You will take ownership of program plans, promote process standardization, and facilitate delivery within Product Development and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a servant leader, assisting teams in delivering programs on schedule and meeting quality standards.
- Understand software development workflows and thrive in a fast-paced agile setting.
- Proactively manage stakeholders and communicate project status both verbally and in writing.
- Lead and facilitate meetings, ensuring clear action items and follow-ups.
- Create and maintain detailed project and release schedules highlighting critical tasks and milestones.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize project risks while formulating mitigation strategies.
- Utilize tools including JIRA, Aha!, Confluence, Zoom, and G-suite for program coordination.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience managing technology projects across various teams such as cloud operations, product management, engineering, and more in a global environment.
- Strong technical knowledge with expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM and KANBAN, alongside familiarity with AWS services and Kubernetes.
- Proven abilities in risk management and balancing needs of diverse stakeholders to drive results.
- Excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills including delivering presentations and clarifying technical and functional requirements to remote teams.
- Experienced with business tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, Aha!, and scheduling across multiple time zones.
