Role Summary
An established IT services leader is seeking an experienced Threat Hunter to enhance its cybersecurity operations in Chennai and Noida. The selected professional will utilize a broad spectrum of intelligence sources to identify, analyze, and report on emerging cyber threats, transforming such intelligence into actionable defense strategies and collaborating closely with incident response teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze diverse intelligence inputs, including internal and external sources, to spot evolving threat trends, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), as well as indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Develop actionable intelligence reports and support defensive strategies including prevention, detection, and Red Team exercises.
- Investigate cyberattack activities to determine attribution, discover adversary behaviors, and enhance threat context understanding.
- Create clear, high-quality briefings, reports, and presentations tailored for audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadership.
- Provide timely intelligence contributions during critical cyber incident responses to accelerate mitigation efforts and safeguard networks.
- Collaborate effectively with Security Operations Centre, Supply Chain Security, and Vulnerability Management teams to strengthen organizational defenses.
- Engage with industry and governmental cyber threat intelligence communities to share and receive pertinent threat information.
- Maintain awareness of current threat landscapes, defense methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure global operational best practices are applied.
- Present executive-level briefings with precision and attention to detail.
- Exhibit flexibility to manage urgent cybersecurity issues outside regular working hours as required.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in the cyber threat intelligence lifecycle, including intelligence collection, production, and reporting.
- Familiarity with threat analysis frameworks such as Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATT&CK TTP Framework, with over five years of applied experience.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, GCTI, eCTHP, or equivalent.
- Proven capability performing technical investigations into cyber threats, conducting attribution, and analyzing TTPs.
- Knowledge of technical requirements related to intelligence creation and understanding of incident response procedures.
