Role Overview
The position is for a Veeva Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in the pharmaceutical sector, balancing functional and technical responsibilities. The role requires leadership in Pharma Application Management Services (AMS) assessments, solution design, proposal support, and delivering high-quality solutions specifically in Life Sciences.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, review, and approve enterprise architecture.
- Manage system integrations and support validation and qualification processes.
- Conduct portfolio analysis and facilitate workshops.
- Design solutions, estimate efforts, evaluate vendors, and drive application rationalization.
- Engage stakeholders and develop transformation roadmaps.
- For AMS proposals: evaluate application inventories, map criticalities, define support models, and plan transitions.
- Estimate efforts, create SLA/KPI frameworks, recommend modernization, and perform risk assessments.
Required Skills and Domain Knowledge
- Pharmaceutical Research & Development, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and enterprise integration domains.
- Experience with Vault Platform including Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, CRM sub-domains.
- Expertise in Integration Architecture and migration strategy formulation.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards such as GxP, GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11.
- Awareness of Data Integrity, Computer System Validation (CSV), audit preparedness, and validation lifecycle.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Relevant pharmaceutical domain experience.
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global delivery models.
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and artificial intelligence/data technologies.
- Certifications related to the pharmaceutical platforms are a plus.
