Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and provide them with menus in a professional manner.
• Accurately take beverage and food orders, communicate them promptly to kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery of service.
• Serve meals and drinks following the venue’s quality standards; clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
• Offer detailed information regarding menu items, specials, allergen information, and dietary considerations, escalating complex inquiries to senior staff when required.
• Handle guest billing and payments precisely through the POS system, managing cash securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas while strictly following hygiene and safety protocols.
• Support side tasks including polishing cutlery, folding napkins, restocking supplies, and preparing table covers.
• Collaborate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service.
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously to maintain high satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Proficiency in English communication; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Well organized, punctual, and capable of multitasking during busy periods.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer literacy are desirable.
• Understanding of food allergens, dietary restrictions, and front-of-house procedures.

Training and Certification

• Hospitality or customer service certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Food hygiene certification at Level 2 or equivalent is preferred.
• Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided regarding venue standards, POS, and reservations.
