Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Web Site Designer to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role demands on-site work with no remote option and involves collaborating closely with clients to establish and meet their web design needs within the telecommunications sector.

Languages & Education

• Proficiency in English
• Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university diploma program lasting between 1 to 2 years

Experience

Applicants should have between one and two years of relevant experience specifically in web design within a telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to clearly define and document website requirements
• Design website architecture and create technical documentation to ensure business goals are met
• Develop mock-ups, storyboards, and optimize website content using various software tools
• Lead and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to enhance website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity

Technical Expertise

• Familiarity with Android and iOS platforms
• Experience using Jira for project management
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Figma for design purposes

• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail under pressure
• Capable of physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of job requirements
