Team and Technologies

The Accounting and Payments team, part of the Corporate Services tribe within Raisin’s Products & Engineering division, focuses on account reconciliation and payment processing by customizing Oracle NetSuite ERP using JavaScript and building Java and Python microservices alongside AWS Lambda functions. The team’s technology stack involves JavaScript (Node.js, SuiteScript), Java, and Python, playing a crucial role in automating Raisin’s ecosystem processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Software Engineering team to develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Assist in debugging and resolving software issues.
• Engage in code reviews providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the design and rollout of new software features.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure code quality via testing and automation.
• Participate actively in team meetings, brainstorming, and agile development workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related domain.
• More than two years of experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript backend frameworks and Python is advantageous.
• Familiarity with software development principles including version control (Git), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and web technologies such as REST APIs.
• Interest in cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, inquisitive, and eager to learn within a supportive, collaborative environment.
