About the internship
Internship Overview
This internship provides the opportunity to develop complete product features utilizing the MERN stack, guided by experienced engineers. You will integrate an AI-first workflow leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance coding, debugging, testing, and documentation processes. This role involves creating and refining Node.js and Express APIs, developing React components with clean architecture, and managing MongoDB schemas and queries—all while using AI assistance. Collaboration with both engineering and product teams will be essential to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship lasting 6 months.
- Internship start date should be between 12th August 2026 and 16th September 2026.
- Candidates should possess relevant skills and interests, currently be Computer Science or Engineering students or equivalent self-taught individuals with a strong portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js with guidance from senior developers.
- Implement an AI-centric development approach utilizing tools for coding assistance, refactoring, debugging, and documentation.
- Create and integrate APIs using Node.js and Express, benefiting from AI-aided code generation.
- Construct maintainable, modern React components and user interfaces.
- Work efficiently with MongoDB schemas and queries, utilizing AI insights for improvements.
- Employ AI-powered debugging to analyze system behaviors and troubleshoot issues.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to quickly prototype, refine, and deploy products.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or possess equivalent self-directed learning with substantial project work.
- Proficient in JavaScript and at least one core component of the MERN stack, supported by projects or experience.
- Embrace AI-integrated development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with a keen enthusiasm for learning.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to receive constructive feedback and adapt under structured mentorship.
Additional Preferred Experience
- Active GitHub repositories, deployed applications, or personal projects showcasing your capabilities.
- Experience shipping complete full-stack applications, even smaller-scale ones.
- Participation in hackathons, open source contributions, or freelance projects.
- Hands-on experience working with AI tools and APIs.
- Interest in understanding and developing B2B SaaS products.
Compensation and Benefits
