This internship offers hands-on experience in business development with a focus on sales for an educational platform preparing students for the IIT JEE exams. Interns will manage leads generated via digital platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp communities to engage with potential students and their parents. Responsibilities include communicating course details, addressing queries, and assisting in lead conversion toward admissions. Maintaining precise records of interactions and adhering to admission targets are essential parts of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage regularly with leads collected from various digital sources including Instagram and WhatsApp communities.
- Interact via calls and messages with students and parents to understand and address their academic IIT JEE preparation needs.
- Provide comprehensive explanations of course offerings, schedules, benefits, and payment options.
- Handle basic questions and objections professionally; escalate complex issues to the sales or counseling teams when required.
- Follow up persistently with interested candidates using phone and WhatsApp to nurture leads.
- Spot qualified prospects and aid in converting them into confirmed admissions.
- Keep detailed records of lead status and communications through Google Sheets or CRM software.
- Strive to meet designated admission and conversion goals consistently.
- Ensure no lead is overlooked and minimize drop-offs through timely follow-ups.
- Offer constructive feedback on frequent objections from students or parents to help improve sales strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- Availability for a six-month remote internship starting between August 11 and September 15, 2026.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, comfortable working with phones and WhatsApp.
- Motivation to work towards target-based objectives.
- Prior experience in sales, telecalling, counseling, business development, or EdTech is advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Details
- Stipend ranges from INR 5,000 to 13,500 per month, including a fixed component of 3,000-3,500 and incentives between 2,000-10,000 INR per month.
- Internship schedule offers flexible working hours and follows a 5-day workweek.
- Certification will be provided on successful completion.
