About the Internship
This in-office internship focuses on software quality assurance and testing. The selected intern will work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, design test coverage, execute manual checks, support automation efforts, and help strengthen the overall QA process. The role also encourages the responsible use of AI tools to improve efficiency, while ensuring all outputs are reviewed before use.
Key Responsibilities
- Review product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria to spot missing details, risks, and edge cases early.
- Create well-rounded test coverage that includes functional, negative, regression, smoke, exploratory, UI, and API scenarios.
- Run manual test cases carefully and record findings with precision.
- Raise, monitor, retest, and follow up on defects with clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, severity, and business impact.
- Support the development, upkeep, and refinement of automated test scripts and suites for repetitive and high-priority scenarios.
- Use AI tools in a controlled way to brainstorm test ideas, draft test cases, generate test data, assist with automation scripting, summarize failures, and support regression analysis, with proper human validation before use.
- Evaluate existing QA workflows and recommend practical improvements that expand automation coverage and reduce repetitive manual work.
- Prepare concise test reports, test summaries, and release-readiness updates for stakeholders.
