Position Overview
Lasell University’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies is building a broad pool of part-time adjunct instructors across several subject areas. The role is remote and involves teaching graduate-level courses with only limited travel expected.
Fields of interest include Athletic Training, Business, Communications, Criminal Justice, Education, Fashion, Health and Human Performance, Health Science, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, Philosophy, Project Management, Psychology, Public Speaking, Sport Management, Sport Science, and Writing for Public Relations.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold an M.S., M.Ed., or an equivalent graduate qualification in a related discipline; a PhD is preferred. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level is required. For Criminal Justice roles, a doctorate in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related crime-focused academic field is expected, though ABD candidates may also be considered. Prior college teaching experience is strongly preferred for that track.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to mentor students remotely through email, phone, and video meetings. Candidates should also be prepared to give detailed feedback on student assignments and coursework.
