Role Description

The Admin / Driver role involves ensuring adherence to internal regulations, professionally handling employee inquiries, supporting government-related documentation processes, and assisting with various administrative and logistical duties. The position also requires vehicle operation and transporting staff for medical and administrative appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and enforce all in-house rules and protocols among employees.
  • Professionally manage employee questions and requests.
  • Assist with data submission and collection at government offices and embassies as required.
  • Facilitate medical appointments related to residency and food handler certifications, including employee transport.
  • Handle office routines such as typing and processing paperwork concerning employment and separations.
  • Support documentation requirements related to government relations activities.
  • Maintain organized filing systems within the Terms & Conditions Office.
  • Assist with airport pickups for new arrivals and local transfers, including accommodation shifts.
  • Monitor and oversee expatriate employees’ passports, visas, and other legal documents.
  • Safeguard confidential employee files and manage the distribution of QIDs, paycards, hotel IDs, and health cards.
  • Ensure proper filing of all internal and external applications related to potential candidates.
  • Foster positive working relationships across departments.
  • Adhere to the hotel’s Employee Handbook, especially policies about fire safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar labor legislation and regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Between 1 to 3 years of combined experience in driving and administrative support roles.
  • Good knowledge of local roadways, traffic laws, and GPS navigation tools.
  • Basic understanding of human resources and office administrative functions, including record maintenance, document filing, and scheduling activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as in email correspondence.
  • Strong organizational abilities and effective time management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to handle employee information with strict confidentiality.
