Role overview
KPG99 INC is hiring an Administrative Support Manager for its New York City Metropolitan Area operations. This position is based at One Manhattan West, NY and is intended for local candidates or those living nearby. The role follows a hybrid schedule with 3 to 4 days in the office, most likely 3 days onsite, and is a full-time opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Administrative Support department.
- Handle staffing plans, workload distribution, scheduling, utilization, and performance management.
- Lead hiring efforts, onboard new team members, and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development for administrative staff.
- Work closely with Human Resources on employee relations matters and performance-related processes.
- Create and improve training materials, department policies, operating procedures, and best-practice standards.
- Manage budgeting activities, forecasting, and expense tracking/reporting for the department.
- Support process enhancement efforts and broader strategic initiatives across business services.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should bring at least 8 years of administrative management experience in a law firm or professional services setting, along with a minimum of 4 years leading administrative support teams. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, recruitment, coaching, and employee development is expected. Strong communication, organization, analysis, and conflict-resolution abilities are essential. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
