Position Overview
This role is responsible for store allocations and weekly replenishment across the retail fleet. The allocator will build a working understanding of planning and distribution activities to help keep each store at the right stock level.
What You’ll Do
- Use data analysis and field feedback to understand regional differences, store characteristics, and selling trends.
- Develop relationships with store teams to identify opportunities and limitations at each location.
- Review category and size-level sales by store and share actionable recommendations with the buyer/planner.
- Create supply approaches that reduce out-of-stock situations.
- Prepare weekly analyses and reports to improve sales potential and reduce markdown exposure.
- Handle store-to-store transfers and markdown transfers from regular-price-only stores.
- Work with cross-functional partners to define responsibilities and ensure new store assortments and quantities are executed accurately and on time.
- Evaluate performance to decide on the best allocation approach for stronger results.
- Partner with the buying team on store assortments using store profiles to support inventory needs and in-stock goals.
- Keep store stock levels accurate and aligned with business targets.
- Support or exceed sales, gross margin, and inventory objectives.
- Track and communicate store performance, including sales vs. inventory trends, seasonality, and marketing influence.
- Build distribution strategies that identify and capture location-specific sales and profit opportunities.
- Continue working with buying and planning teams to maintain effective assortments and improve inventory productivity.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree is required. The role is suited to candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
About the Team
The Allocation department supports product placement across North American retail stores. Team members help determine where inventory should go and play a direct role in sales performance and margin outcomes through data-driven decision-making. This position offers a path into retail operations and inventory management.

Salary is listed at $70,304 annually.
