Job Overview
The Assistant Manager will oversee the billing process for service, maintenance, and warranty jobs, ensuring accuracy and compliance across departments. This role demands coordination with various teams including technicians, frontline and operations managers, and warehouse staff to clarify and resolve billing discrepancies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the billing cycle for all service, maintenance, and warranty-related tasks.
- Collaborate with technicians and management teams to address questions and confirm approvals regarding task coding inconsistencies.
- Verify pricing, warranty details, parts usage, and payment methods to ensure correct billing application.
- Compile and manage batches of invoices and generate detailed billing reports.
- Distribute invoices to customers via mail or email.
- Administer membership services including setup, extensions, and cancellations.
- Handle credit card payment processing and invoice corrections as required.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven expertise in managing the end-to-end billing process.
- Experience in leading and supervising a team.
