Auditor - Horticulture

Position Overview

We are inviting applications for a full-time Auditor position based in Mount Maunganui, focused on supporting the horticulture sector in New Zealand. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week, and involves extensive travel within both the North and South Islands.

Core Responsibilities

• Obtain and preserve approved auditor status for designated programmes.
• Execute audits following regulatory standards and company protocols.
• Keep current with technical and regulatory developments.
• Deliver precise and prompt audit reports, and handle non-compliance issues efficiently.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients, regulators, and colleagues.
• Engage in internal audits, special projects, and support continuous advancement activities.
• Advocate and adhere to workplace health and safety policies.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience within kiwifruit or avocado industries, or relevant auditing roles in these domains, is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical capability coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Superior communication skills and talent for relationship development.
• Dedicated to continual improvement and maintaining safety standards.
