About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality and appealing presentation of bakery products including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Keep the bakery department well-stocked and business-ready at all times.
• Ensure proper signage and pricing of all bakery merchandise.
• Comply with cold chain standards, temperature checks, food handling, product rotation, and expiration date protocols.
• Implement thorough food safety measures and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Follow established procedures for ordering, clearing inventory, pricing, and labeling bakery items.
• Prepare bakery goods by following correct thawing and baking instructions to maintain quality and appearance.
• Secure all bakery displays safely and appropriately.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $18.05 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
