Barista

Position Overview

This role focuses on enriching the customer experience by crafting memorable interactions that go beyond simply serving food and beverages. The Barista functions as a Guest Service Expert, actively engaging with guests, assisting with table setup, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of work areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Set tables and prepare dining areas to ensure guest readiness.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service.
• Engage guests by taking orders and serving food and beverages attentively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize supplies in workspaces.
• Adhere to company protocols, ensuring a safe and professional work environment.

Physical and Operational Requirements

• Remain active on foot for extended periods, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Manage the menu by reading and verifying information visually.
• Handle work duties that include lifting or moving objects up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Perform movements such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as needed during tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of relevant work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
