Biomedical Engineer

About the Role

Medinova Medical Supplies LLC is looking for a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Engineer to enhance our expanding team. This role involves the comprehensive management of medical equipment for hospitals, clinics, and healthcare centers throughout the UAE. Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and delivering technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, commission, test, and validate medical devices at customer locations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and urgent equipment servicing.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly and effectively.
• Calibrate devices following manufacturers' guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Generate detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Offer technical support and training sessions to medical staff.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on technical issues, spare parts management, and warranty claims.
• Ensure adherence to UAE healthcare rules, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Manage inventory of service tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Respond swiftly to customer requests and emergency repair notifications.
• Assist with equipment demonstrations, installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Support the Sales Team by providing technical insights during client engagements and product showcases.
• Build and nurture customer relations through professional, responsive service.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on emerging technologies and products.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or comparable engineering field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in installing and maintaining medical equipment; experience within UAE is preferred.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Possession of a valid UAE Driving License is essential.
• Proven organizational skills and effective time management.
