Role Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Manager for a full-time, on-site position at our Dublin 6 office. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities with a focus on SMEs and larger enterprises that would benefit from BrightHR’s HR and health & safety offerings. Daily responsibilities include targeted prospecting and cold outreach, handling inbound leads, conducting discovery calls, delivering product demonstrations, and crafting bespoke proposals. The role also requires negotiating contracts, finalizing agreements, and collaborating with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and sustained satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities
The manager will be responsible for tracking sales metrics, maintaining up-to-date CRM records, and providing valuable market feedback to help shape sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in SaaS, HR technology, or professional services sectors.
- Strong competencies in lead generation, qualification, pipeline management, and deal closure.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with confidence in client engagement.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and convert them into effective solutions that foster long-term relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, sales tracking tools, and basic sales data analytics.
- A proactive, target-oriented attitude capable of working independently and collaboratively within a sales team.
- An advantage includes knowledge of HR, health & safety, or employment law contexts.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related disciplines, or equivalent relevant experience.
