About the Business Unit

Panasonic Digital Asia Pacific (PDAP) serves as the IT solutions and professional services partner for 63 Panasonic Group companies throughout the Asia Pacific region across seven key business lines. As a vital contributor to Panasonic's transformation, PDAP provides IT leadership, portfolio management, solution implementation, and IT operations. This is supported through Centres of Excellence in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. The unit delivers dependable and resilient IT services while collaborating closely with Panasonic's Operating Companies to drive digital innovation, modernization, and generate sustainable business value leveraging Panasonic's vast scale.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and analytical intern to assist with Business Process Transformation efforts in both Human Resources and Business Operations. This position provides exposure to regional transformation initiatives, process enhancements, digitalization projects, and data-focused decision-making within an APAC IT business setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing existing HR and business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help create process maps, document workflows, develop standard operating procedures, and promote standardization efforts.
  • Support data aggregation, preparation of reports, and analytical tasks to enable informed business decisions.
  • Contribute to creating dashboards, tracking tools, and presentation materials for transformation initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous improvement and digital transformation projects.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to collect requirements, obtain feedback, and gather operational insights.
  • Manage meeting preparations, minute taking, and follow-up tracking.

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Business, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Human Resources, Psychology, or similar fields.
  • Academic exposure to subjects like Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Process Improvement, or Operations Management is preferred for Business/Finance disciplines.
  • Strong skills in analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to assess and enhance HR and business processes.
  • Comfortable handling data, spreadsheets, dashboard creation, and reporting tools.
  • Experience or ability to map, document, and analyze workflows and operational procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication abilities and experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with readiness to take responsibility for assigned projects and tasks.
  • High energy level, resourcefulness, and adaptability within dynamic environments.
  • Curious attitude focused on business transformation and process optimization.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for work outputs.
  • Capable of working independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail combined with solid organizational skills.
