Business Systems Analyst & Developer

Overview

Aarorn Technologies is seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst & Developer to join their team in Toronto. This role demands a professional with over six years of experience to work onsite, with a hybrid schedule (four days onsite). The position involves bridging business needs and technical solutions through detailed analysis and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to extract and analyze business requirements using workshops and meetings.
• Document business and functional requirements comprehensively through BRDs and FRDs.
• Create user stories accompanied by acceptance criteria to facilitate Agile processes.
• Develop process flow diagrams utilizing Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent diagramming tools.
• Perform GAP and impact analyses to assess business solution feasibility.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Product Owners throughout project lifecycles.
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, UAT, and production deployments.
• Coordinate testing efforts and assist during production releases and issue resolutions.
• Engage in application design, development, and enhancement focusing on high-performance Python applications and microservices.
• Create and maintain REST APIs or microservices ensuring code is clean, maintainable, and reusable.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema elements essential to application functionality.
• Perform debugging, code reviews, continuous integration, and delivery activities.
• Participate in application modernization initiatives and integrations with third-party systems aiming to optimize performance.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should bring substantial experience in both business systems analysis and Python application development. Proven ability in engaging stakeholders, documenting technical and business requirements, and independently managing development tasks including database programming and API development is expected. Competency in Agile methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.
